Forssell MDAC-4 4 channel digital to analog converter

MDAC-4 is an extremely high quality four channel digital to analog converter housed in a 1U rack mount enclosure. The most revealing details, depth and natural sound with perfectly balanced frequency spectrum bring a new dimension into monitoring, analogue processing or “audiophile” listening. Suitable for the most demanding applications. Sample rates from 44.1k to 192k. There are two versions of the MDAC-4 available. One version uses a single front panel switch selects either the AES or SPDIF input for the two stereo DA converters.  The other version has two fron panel switches to indpendently select the input source for each stereo DA converter. Both versions have LED indicators showing which input is selected. There are also LEDs for digital Input error, and digital input lock status. The analog Outputs are a balanced, floating configuration allowing either balanced or single-ended loads using high quality XLR connectors. The digital inputs are AES3 (XLR), and SPDIF (RCA).
